About Twice as Hard, Half as Much

Perdita spent a lot of time working toward a career as a writer in a variety of different workplaces. One thing those environments have had in common is that they've been predominantly white.

 

Over the years, there's been several instances of confusing behavior by colleagues, but after one violent outburst by a co-worker she'd find herself questioning reality, searching for a way to escape a toxic workplace, and realizing that Black women all over the world were facing similar experiences.
